The WLS-MB water leak detection sensor is a reliable device designed to protect rooms and equipment against the effects of water leakage. It is available in versions with sensing cable lengths up to 50 m. The presence of water is indicated via a two-wire communication bus compliant with the alarm-profile M-Bus protocol, as well as by LED indication. Using the communication bus allows flexible topology and significantly reduces the amount of cabling required. The device also performs automatic sensing cable continuity monitoring.

Sensor connection
The WLS-MB sensor communicates using the alarm-profile M-Bus protocol compliant with EN 13757-3 Annex D. The system requires the BLC-MBUS-ALM communication gateway, which acts as the M-Bus master. It powers the sensors and initiates communication. System status is mapped to standard BACnet objects.
